StaryStack is a browser extension that lets you keep a personal log of articles and newsletters you read on Substack.
None. StaryStack does not collect, transmit, or store any of your data on any server. Everything you log — titles, authors, ratings, notes, tags — is stored entirely on your own device, using your browser's local storage.
When you open the extension on a page, it reads publicly available metadata from that page (such as the title, author, and cover image) to help you log it quickly. This information is only used to fill in the log entry you choose to save — it is never sent anywhere.
StaryStack does not share any data with third parties, because it does not collect or transmit any data in the first place.
You can export a full backup of your data at any time from within the extension, and delete any entry (or all of them) whenever you like. Uninstalling the extension removes all locally stored data.
